Dr. Tyler Ratzlaff - Veterinarian / Owner
      Has lived in Monte Vista most his life.  He is a graduate of Monte Vista High School, Adams State College and received his degree in Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 1986. After getting his DVM degree he returned to Monte Vista.  In 1989, he and his wife bought Alpine Veterinary Hospital. Over the years he has helped this hospital grow to a 4 vet practice.

Bonnie Ratzlaff - Office Manager / Bookkeeper
     Born and raised in Alamosa. Graduated from Alamosa High School.  Has been with the hospital since her and Dr. Ratzlaff bought the practice.  She manages the financial part of the business and the day to day paperwork.

     Tyler and Bonnie have two children.  Matthew, owner of San Luis Valley Auto Repair in Monte Vista and Casie, student at Colorado School of Mines in Golden.
     The Ratzlaff's also breeds and sales registered Tennessee Walking Horses.  They have 3 dogs, 4 cats, 2 goats and 11 horses. 
     Interests include: horse rides in the mountains around the San Luis Valley, watching their son race his modified car and going to their daughters track meets.

Dr. Curtis Crawford - Veterinarian
     Born and raised in Springer, New Mexico where his family still farms and ranches. 
     Attended undergraduate college at New Mexico State University and graduated from Colorado State University with DVM degree in 1986. Practiced in Las Cruces, NM and Pueblo, Co before joining Alpine Veterinary Hospital in 1997.
     Has been married to his lovely wife Denise (from Albuquerque) since 1981 and they have two children, James and Katy.
     Current pets include two Labrador Retrievers (Hank & Molly) and one cat (Simon). The Family also raised Boer goats for the kid’s 4H projects.

Dr. Virginia Stout - Veterinarian
    Dr. Stout is new to our practice. She graduated from vet school in May of 2011.  She is from Alabama

Dr. Fitzsimmons is new to  the practice.  He is a 2011 graduate.

Debbie Hancock - Receptionist
    Has worked for Alpine twice.  First time was for 2 1/2 year. Then she decided to open her own business.  After several years Alpine was lucky to get her back and she has been with us now since Jan 2005.
     She has two kids, Mykeal and Kasey. She also has 3 dogs (Gonzo, Hoonyadi, Daisy) and 5 Cats( turdle, Brat, Dipstick, Greyble, Slink)
